“I used to live in Ohio, and I moved here my 8th grade year in the summer. The beginning of freshman year was a change of lifestyle, because it’s the south. I mean, it was better than I expected. I expected cornfields and dirt roads. Before moving here I was not as academically successful as I am now. The C I got in Spanish 1 hit me hard and tanked my GPA so I had to step it up. I want to do big things after school and working hard has been helping me achieve some of those goals. Also, Amin can’t play basketball.
